Put your hands together, guys! The newly engaged Avril Lavigne presented her SECONDAbbey Dawn New York Fashion Week show last night. *incites early-morning ovation* That’s right, y’all. With this sophomore show under her belt, Abbey Dawn is no one-time Fashion Week flash in the pan. And apparently, neither is her friend and model Kylie Jenner who opened and closed the show – her second of the WEEK!

Avril’s second Fashion Week showing is markedly Avril – black and red and white, skulls and metalhead regalia, Manic Panic technicolor hair. While it doesn’t stray from the punky aesthetic Avril has inhabited for well over a decade (also, why should it? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?), it does show considerable growth since the last time we saw Abbey Dawn at STYLE360. Sure, a lot of the things we saw last year make comebacks, but there are definitely some interesting new additions.

There are graphic tees strewn unexpected with spikes, detached zombie fingers that come together to spell “AD” for Abbey Dawn, lace with skulls worked into the weaving pattern, and stripes with life-size skeletons screen-printed over top.
